I said before I was going to have mine made. I wanted to have mine made because i wanted to have the dress I really wanted. If someone happens to have made it, then i could prolly buy it.
Then I saw it.
It wasn't brown, it was gold.
It didn't have a bow, which I wanted, but it was still empire cut, which I wanted.
So, that's my dress, the one i saw. I'm not having one made after all.
SO.
If anyone is buying that dress by Laura Lees for Topshop, buy another one. hehe..
Wanie and Doms are like, "Ingga! Why'd you announce your dress?"
So i'm like, "I'd rather announce it that see someone else in the prom wearing it!"
So yeah.
School just bursts EVERYTHING happy about the preparation of the prom.
School sucks man.

But then after intrams is what I hate.
Ahh gehd.
So Goose sent this prom tasks jigger again and I'm like OMG, proms so near and it takes like 11 weeks I think for approval, we better work fast, yo!
And then it hit me again.
I freakin' don't have a promdate YET! Agh.
I have to get one soon.
When it really hit me was before when the break was still fresh from my relaxed feelings. I said, oh dear, am I realizing that I should already have a promdate by the end of the break?! Am I realizing that?
Because the prom's already in the second week of Feb! And by the first day of Feb, everything should already be ready and laid out. And the end of the break is 2nd day of January. Which means I've got ONE MONTH to do preparations. And what's more important during prom than DA DRESS! Hello? I've got one month to do DA DRESS.
DA DRESS. I can't buy one because of the, uh I mean, da dress code so I'm having one made.
My color's brown.

What's that? Oh yeah, of course you can also wear brown, what do you think I am? Color hogger?
I think this dress is going to be more important than the prom itself! haha Kidding. Not. No, seriously, Kidding.
Well, keep in mind, considerer of brown, that I'm planning my color palette to span from uhm, ebony to mocha. Probably. I'm not sure yet, but it's definitely going to be at least two-toned (I hope) and brown. I hope to high heavens.
And I'm getting a BOW!

I had this design in mind but then I found a perfect alteration to it in this awesome TeenVogue magazine prom issue. It was like, wow! Perfect!
OMG my giddyness reminds me of this girl I know from Florida who always says, "sweetness."
I mean, what the! Sweetness?!! It's her way of saying, "cool." She says, "sweetness!" Ugh. I think I'd rather hear "cool" than "sweetness..."

Okay. For all you Livejournal users, have those "rich text" and "HTML" tabs been there in the upper right of the "update journal" page? I'm sure certain I haven't seen them there. Or maybe they've been under my nose. It reminds of blogger, because, as I've said on my previous post, blogger had these tabs from which you could pick depending on how you want to write your post. hehe. Brom there yonder is played by Jeremy Irons a.k.a. the voice of Scar!!! yeah!
Murtagh not there yonder but he's played by Garret Hellund. If you remember him in Troy he was Achilles' cousin who was killed by Hector, thinking he was Achilles hehe. So now Achilles goes all "HECTOR" in the gate and then kills Hector and drags his body behind the chariot.... etc.
So there is as person named Garret from the all-time favorite cigarette commercial joke, "Champion si Garret!"

Remember Daniel Craig? The new James Bond from Casino Royale? Remember how your eyes bled when you saw him in the movie poster? Ehmigawd. Here's how:

I talked to Alex about the movie and she honestly admitted that when you watch the movie, you think in the end, "hmm.. Daniel Craig's not so bad... especially when you look at his eyes..."
So I watched the movie.

No amount of James Bond appeal (and it can be really strong most of the time) can compensate for his facial incapabilites. okay just trying to be nice... hehe I'm so mean

I love the break...

I sometimes find myself thanking the Lord for granting me this feeling. The feeling that it's okay to feel careless and relaxed and good......

Too bad it's going to end. Like all things, break ends.... and it's going to end on the 2nd of January. ugh

The smell of freshly-baked cookies from the kitchen and the naughty lights outside the door really help in creating the Christmas mood.
And the fact that everything on TV has something about Christmas. hehe

What's Up - Four Non Blondes |

I'm here to publicly and informally announce to everyone who reads this that "The Pixie Sticks" is the new (and improved) name of Athanasia *recoils*.
Soooo many things happened since my previous entry, and it's a pity I was never able to relay them to you. (Praise for "Happy Feet" and how I'm dead excited for "Eragon"). At first I didn't know what to write here but then I remembered... WE HAVE A NEW BAND NAME!!!
You see, I was one of those (or the only one) who actively insisted on changing the band name. Although everyone in the band shared my sentiments against the former name, some just found it impractical to change it, given how we're already known by some of the public as Athanasia *recoils*.
Their arguments are that:
- It's hard to change it once you've already established it
- It might even confuzzle the public of the name change
- We don't even have a name in mind!
- Many other arguments they were able to think of that I fervently shunned away
My arguments are that:
- How fast we were able to tell people about our name is how fast we can change it
- A one-time change won't confuzzle anyone
- We can think of a BETTER name ANYTIME!
- I don't want to be mistakedly accused and arrested one day for committing euthanasia!
- I don't want to hear "RASPUTIN!" from anyone soon (anastasia)
- What's worse than a name that means "immortality?" ewww!!!
- We are just NOT "athanasia"
- Besides, I have to build a website soon. And I don't want to pattern it after "Athanasia"
- I wanna perform once and actually be proud of the name I play by
- I wanna just smile one day in just thinking "I HAVE A BAND NAME THAT KICKS ASS!!!"
So yeah. So much for being oot contented.. hehe At least now we have a name! YAAY!!!!!!
We had A LOT of names to chose from, but these were the only ones that actually reached the "top" list except for some imprefections

Pixie Sticks was actually under our noses. We even had a poll in the "Athanasia" website (c/o Monina) regarding that. I actually VOTED a "yes! Change it to Pixie Sticks!" and I TOLD YOU SO! Hahahahahaha :D
It was actually one of the first names to think of, considering the past barkada experiences with Willy Wonka's Pixy Stix. Those experiences make me proud of the name.

IT'S THE EVENING OF HALLOWEEN!!! WOOOHHOOOOOOOHOOO!!! Be very afraid... Hehe
We're having this other Halloween party with my clan here at home. Now, I'm dressed as an elf named Ingra Svatkala of Ellesmera. Hehe. Made that up. I wanted to go as a Dragon Rider but then heller... light brown leather much. I conceded that being an elf would be more casual. Plus, I've got this rouge-like bow and arrow which makes it perfect. Atra nosu waise fricai. Or however it's spelled.
After going home from Salem, I was brought to Beam's house and Benj insisted on showing me their VCD of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. To all honesty I really wanted to watch that movie. Because of school and such I was never able to. Hehe. I finally watched cars drift...
Drift....
Haaay....
Drift.
For me, it's the most aesthetic technique in driving... it's beyoteh.
Beauty.
I did enough research on drifting to make me want to buy a toy car to practice on it. Hehe
It's so fascinating how outside, it looks like the driver is just being cool and crusin' around but actually, inside, it's hella rigorous. It's like, you're tap dancing with the brakes, gas and clutch, you're typing on the gears and handbrake, and you're playing with the steering wheel. I hope that describes it. It's like those Nascar drivers. Really good.
Okay. So that's the latest addition to my "list of things I got to do before I die."
Hope it comes true. :D

Before anything else, Happy Halloween Everyone...
... this is the time when souls go out of their graves to roam the earth...
... a time when they're free... to haunt...
Nonetheless Happy Halloween!
Salem was an amazing party. Don't you just love it when people actually dress up and reveal their inner "yo's," their inner gagoness? It was freakin' fun man!
As I told you previously, I would come as a Jedi. I originally wanted to go as Adi Gallia (member of the Jedi High Council). But because of the cicumstances, I just decided to come as a generic Jedi. I was able to go shopping yesterday, hours before the start of Salem and was able to buy clothes for my costume. Yay! I already had a robe and lightsabre.
About the lightsabre... It lights up with a switch and because of numerous switching and lighting, the switch finally wore out. Not that it's good. IT BROKE! I wanted to switch it on and when I switched it, the switch handle came off! (alliteration on "sw") Oh my freakin' goodness! That lightsabre was like ordered from eBay! So I thought to myself, "dibale, we got that lightsabre during the Episode 1 era, which was probably 1999-2000. Which makes that what, 6 years old? No wonder the plastic wore out." But then! It's an original LucasArts(c) Merchandise! I tried repairing it when I got home but to no avail. We're still in the process of repairing it. I'm crushed.
I bet you didn't know that the piece actually flew off my fingers and got lost in the dance floor. Shocking huh? With the help of my AWESOME friends who took their time to look at the floor with me, of the man with the shirt that said, "crew," of Nico's amazing cellphone flashlight and of Andy's diligent help, it was found behind the sub. Phew! If it got lost forever... man.. that would be whack, yo!
Like I said before: If my sadness could hurt like a hundred knives, you'd be dead by now. Haha. But that's not the only reason why I'm crushed. hehe...
Hope we can all celebrate a wonderful season of the dead. :D

Oh gawd it's so addicting!

It's just as addicting as the Guild Wars I played. Except this one isn't violent. No swords, no moaning, dying warriors, no sound of flesh being cut, no magical powers, no weapons, no monsters, no energy, mana etc.
But it has kids and preteens playing with cartoon penguins.
And the game is made entirely out of Flash! Amazing..
It's like Neopets. Imagine neopets, but it's not in HTML. It's in Flash. Meaning they move.

Why did I change my hoster? (hehe hoster)
Well, it's basically because NO ONE uses blogger. Maybe some old people but the teen generation uses LiveJournal. The only reason why I decided to use blogger more than a year ago was because it's da first online journal. Now you know the thing with firsts. They're not the ones with the most complete features such a friends list. Blogger does not have a friends list. Sure it has a subscription, but you're supposed to register with your e-mail so on and so forth. It's very, very basic.
So! After more than a year, I have switched to a "hoster" that is more popular with my peers and generation. yeah.
Before Blogger, I used Xanga. You still remember that? I switched because I didn't like it that you couldn't manipulate the lay-out much. I switched to Blogger because you could make a whole layout from scratch!
My one problem with Livejournal is that you couldn't make from scratch. You have to pay. I don't know about Xanga now but before, there wasn't a option to make a layout from scratch. Livejournal is kind of between. You have to pay to do a layout from scratch. Blogger, even your free account could do that... hay... Blogger's like a designer's paradise. You could do these random one-page layouts. It's fun.
So Welcome me to LiveJournal! Yay!!!
